Community-Wide Rules

  1. No form of bigotry will in any way be tolerated whatsoever. This is grounds for an immediate and permanent ban if deliberate, and actions both in and out of the server can lead to a ban under this rule.

  2. Other users are to be treated with respect at all times. This applies to obvious examples such as disallowing explicit bullying and verbal harassment, but even some activities that may be normal to some users are harmful to others. Respect the boundaries of others. If someone blocks you, do not try to circumvent this on our server. As a general rule, if someone tells you they are uncomfortable and asks you to stop- stop.

  3. No visually explicit imagery on the server. Anything that is not safe for work or potentially triggering should at the very least be spoiled and include a written warning, but any graphically violent or overly sexual imagery should not be posted at all. If you are unsure if something falls within the scope of this rule, err on the side of caution.

  4. Please use the different channels of the server appropriately. Stay on topic, or move to general if there is no other appropriate topic. Spam is not allowed on any part of the server except for #tomfoolery, but even there bear in mind all other server rules apply.

  5. Do not post or link to pirated materials or any other materials that could jeopardize the server legally (use common sense- just don't paint a target on our back).


   If you have any issues, feel free to ping or DM anyone with the @Staff role and we will do our best to resolve the matter quickly. We may also miss things in the moment but there is ultimately no statute of limitations to the rules. Please bear in mind that different staff members may handle situations differently, and that moderation action may be warranted by issues or behavior other than those that are listed above. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe environment.

  1. Comply with the laws, regulations, ordinances or other such requirements of any applicable Federal, State or local government. Both DX Complex and K&T Host are based in the United States of America.

  2. Do not post any website, other content, links or advertisements of websites that: infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party information; are connected with pornography; encourage or threaten harm toward a particular social, ethnic, religious or other group; contain viruses or any software or programs that may damage the operation of a computer or a person's property; contain warez; contain any kind of proxy server or other traffic relaying programs; promote scamming practices; contain torrent trackers, torrent portals or similar software.

  3. Do not upload sensitive data including but not limited to: credit card information, financial data, and personal health information.

  4. Agree to adhere to rulings and regulations as defined by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). See here for reference.

  5. Agree to adhere to the rulings and regulations of the Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act (FOSTA) and the Stop Enabling Sex Trafficking Act (SESTA). This means that you may not be used for applications, services, or materials that promote, facilitate, or call for the commission of the prostitution or sexual exploitation of another person (adult or child).   6. Do not cause denial of service attacks, port scans or other endangering and invasive procedures against K&T Host servers and facilities or the servers and facilities of other network hosts or Internet users, nor may you engage in or to instigate actions that cause harm to K&T Host or other customers. Such actions include, but are not limited to, actions resulting in the blacklisting of any of our IPs by any online spam database, actions resulting in DDOS attacks for any servers, etc.

  7. Do not forge the signature or other identifying mark or code of any other person or engage in any activity to attempt to deceive other persons regarding Your true identity. In addition, you may not use our services to engage in illegal or scamming activities.
